Forcing someone with dementia to join our reality can cause increased confusion\, pain\, anxiety\, and fear. This session will discuss when to use therapeutic fibbing\, and suggestions on when to use it as a way to reduce emotional distress for your loved one. Our in-house support group\, open to the community\, connects you with friends and professionals to help you navigate through this disease\, not only for your loved one but also for yourself\, as a caregiver. Each month we will have a different topic and occasional speakers. \nWhen facing uncertainty\, having a good support group you can turn to for advice and encouragement can help you feel socially connected and give you a sense of community.
