Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, Presented by: Dr. Christina Stemmler, Monday July 22, 2019 4:30-6 PM- Fort Wayne, IN
July 22 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Join North Woods Village as we host Dr. Christina Stemmler who will present on Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). NPH is a brain disorder in which excess cerebropinal fluid accumulates in the brain’s ventricles, causing thinking and reasoning problems, difficulty walking and loss of bladder control. Without appropriate diagnostic testing, NPH is often misdiagnosed as Alzheimer’s disease or Parkinson’s disease, or symptoms are attributed to the aging process. NPH is one of the few causes of dementia that can be controlled or reversed with treatment. A light dinner will be served. Space is limited. RSVP early to 260-420-1866 or online at NorthWoodsMemoryCare.com.
