Therapeutic Fibbing: When it is Okay to Lie

Suzy will explore how “fibbing” is a tool that can be very helpful when working with those who have dementia. She will discuss the guilt that we may feel when we lie to our loved ones, while at the same time, explaining why it can be essential to keeping our loved ones stable in their everyday life. Suzy will provide suggestions/tools that can be used at home.
