Assists in planning, developing, organizing and implementing the activity programs to encourage resident socialization, improve daily living skills, expand personal interests and increase the physical, intellectual, emotional and psychological well-being of the residents.

Acts as a leader for scheduled activities with residents.

Assists with coordinating the transporting residents to scheduled community-sponsored activities.

Performs other duties as needed or as assigned.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Responsibility:
Provide personalized care and service in a manner conducive to the safety, comfort, personal dignity, and well-being of our residents. Carry out all duties as assigned by the supervisor and as directed by the Director of Health & Wellness to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Requirements:
Concern for, appreciation and understanding of the aging person. Desire to work with older adults. Friendly, caring disposition. Ability to communicate with a variety of persons including staff, residents, physicians, and families. Must possess Indiana state certification to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) Experience in a dementia care environment is preferred.

Our Nurses provide high quality, holistic nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards and health care regulations which govern the practice of professional nursing. Requirements:
Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN or RN in Michigan. Minimum of one year experience in assisted living industry or health care. Dementia care experience preferred.
