Debra Murrey Joins North Woods Village as Executive Director

(Kalamazoo, MI) North Woods Village of Kalamazoo is excited to announce Debra Murrey has joined the Memory Care Specialist Team as Executive Director. Debra is a seasoned memory care Executive Director bringing over 20 plus years of leadership and healthcare experience to our new community.

She is a true blessing for our community, staff, residents and families. Debra is a Certified Dementia Practitioner with extensive experience, both personally and professionally, in handling all stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia-based illnesses. She is a compassionate, caring executive leader and educator.  Passionate about developing staff to enrich the lives of residents while guiding families through their loved ones’ journeys.  

Debra’s is originally from the Buckeye State where she earned her degree in nursing. She enjoys boating, being outside flower gardening, and watching Ohio State football.  She is especially drawn to listening to life stories of others.

The North Woods Village team welcomes Debra Murrey and is looking forward to her exceptional leadership and caring touch. North Woods Village of Kalamazoo, Southwest Michigan’s premier licensed memory care assisted living community, is now accepting new residents and is located at 6203 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo.
