North Woods Village at Edison Lakes to Hold Special Caregiver Seminar on “Sundowning”
Event by Newly Opened Memory Care Assisted Living Community to Address Ways Caregivers Can Cope with Challenging Behaviors of a Loved One with Dementia
(Mishawaka, IN) January 17, 2014 – North Woods Village at Edison Lakes, the area’s first assisted living community dedicated to caring for those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other memory impairment, announced today that it will host a free community seminar for caregivers, titled “‘I want to go home!’: Facing the Challenges of Sundowning When a Loved One Has Dementia.” Presented by Barb Dzikowski, Program Director, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana, the seminar will be held on Tuesday, February 25 at 6 p.m. at North Woods Village at Edison Lakes located at 1409 E. Day Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Refreshments will be served. Loved ones welcome.
