Focusing on what We can Do Today!

Chances are that you’ve been taking care of a lot of other people lately. You listen, encourage, provide funds, coordinate details, pick up the pieces, worry about and give a huge part of your heart and soul so the people you love will be “okay.”

Amid that, however, the self-care you know you need gets put on the back burner. Because, you know, your needs can wait. It is critical that you stop and recognize your self-care/health can’t wait.  It needs to coincide with everything else you have going on.  It is important to reach out to others and gain support during this time more than ever.  You are not alone in your journey.

It may be out of your comfort zone, but just take the leap of faith and reach out.  Below you with find resources that are just a call away.  There are groups that enable you to remain anonymous but most importantly it’s an opportunity to connect or gain knowledge from others who share like experiences.
