North Woods Village at Edison Lakes Voted Best Memory Care for the Second Year in a Row
For the second consecutive year, our community has given us a wonderful reason to celebrate: North Woods Village at Edison Lakes has been voted Best Memory Care in the 2026 South Bend Community’s Choice Awards!
Following our 2025 win, this year’s recognition makes the honor especially meaningful. We are deeply grateful to the families, friends and community members who continue to place their confidence in us.
Winners were announced on September 29, 2026, at the awards gala at Four Winds Casino South Bend, with results shared online afterward and in the South Bend Tribune’s October 4 winners section. Cristy Kaniewski accepted the award on behalf of North Woods Village at Edison Lakes—a proud moment representing the dedication of our entire team.
A Community Choice, Earned Through Community Support
Winning requires support through multiple rounds. The South Bend Community’s Choice Awards begin with public nominations, with only the five most-nominated businesses in each category advancing to voting. Community members then vote for their favorites, and the organization receiving the most votes wins.
That process makes this recognition particularly special. North Woods Village at Edison Lakes earned its place among the leading nominees, then received the strongest voter support in the Memory Care category. Winning two years in a row gives us another reason to thank the community that stands behind us.
